The CDI is a nonprofit arts education organization that engages children to move toward success in life through dance and music. Their teaching artists and accompanists are all professionally trained performers or professionals trained to work in a live classroom environment.

Clinton: Step Up is ‘profoundly good’

That’s what Los Angeles Times columnist Steve Lopez wrote about Step Up on Second, a Santa Monica nonprofit that delivers compassionate support to people experiencing serious mental illness to help them recover, stabilize, and integrate into the community.

Join the army against breast cancer

“It shows you how medicine and research work,” said the namesake founder of the Dr. Susan Love Research Foundation, which is dedicated to achieving a future without breast cancer. “We tend to think it’s just a simple thing. You look for the answer, you find it and everything’s groovy. But it’s not.”

 

Located here in the Pacific Palisades, the SLRF attacks breast cancer from every possible angle by engaging the public and the scientific communities in innovative research on cause and prevention.
