Fundraisers, events, benefits and walks; I attended them all in efforts to make a difference. But I could only do so much with my black tuxedo and checkbook. There were only so many signed Eagles guitars I could buy before I went broke. We shouldn’t have to wait until we’re as rich as Bill Gates or popular as Bono before we can effect change. My pitch isn’t perfect and I can’t play a Fender Stratocaster. I founded Giive on one simple concept: When we act to improve our communities, only then can we change the world. No one does it alone. At Giive, we’re creating a movement through informed giving. When it comes to charity, there’s no such thing as a drop in the bucket; the ripple effect can grow into a sea change. Let’s give a home to the homeless, help to the helpless and hope to the hopeless.
